Fan Frequency Conversion Project of Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd.
Background
One of the main ways of motor energy saving is to use frequency conversion technology, change the fan air volume or water pump flow by changing the motor speed mode to meet the needs of production process, so that the operation power is in the best state, eliminate the energy loss of the original damper or valve adjustment mode, and realize energy saving.
Objectives
34 sets (power 160~3700kW) of dedusting fans of blast furnace, combustion supporting fans of hot blast furnace, dedusting fans of coking, combustion supporting fans and induced fans of rolling mill, dedusting fans of steelmaking plant and circulating fans of sintering plant were retrofitted. Before retrofitting, the working conditions were power frequency and liquid coupling speed regulation. Scheme 1
Mechanical equipment: remove existing hydraulic coupling, axial displacement of motor and steel base components, direct connection of motor and fan shaft, supporting reconstruction connection of water pipe, etc. or remove system configuration of oil station that needs to be added within the scope of reconstruction.
Scheme 2
Electrical part: automatic scheme is adopted. The frequency converter is equipped with bypass device of frequency conversion / power frequency switching. Manual or automatic switching mode is adopted. In case of serious fault shutdown or routine maintenance, motor can be directly connected to power frequency grid for operation through bypass switch without frequency converter.
