Recently, Welly Group successfully signed the Xinjiang Zhonghe Hezhong New Materials Co., LTD. 1 million tons of carboxylic acid and downstream products integrated wastewater zero discharge project. The project involves coal gasification and ammonia waste water treatment and reuse of the water and zero discharge treatment. The design treatment capacity of coal gasification and ammonia distillation wastewater section is 220m³/h, and the design treatment capacity of intermediate water reuse and zero discharge section is 360m³/h. The quality of the produced water meets the water quality standard of boiler recharge water in the "Municipal Sewage Recycling - Industrial Water Quality" (GB/T 19923-2005).
Xinjiang Zhonghe Hezhong New Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the circular economy industrial park in the south of Hami High-tech Industrial Development Zone. The company's total investment in integrated projects exceeds 2.5 billion yuan, with an annual output of 1 million tons of acetic acid and its downstream products. The project uses Hami coal and oxygen as raw materials to produce acetic acid and downstream products by low pressure methanol carbonyl process. Carbon monoxide was produced by pressurized fluidized bed gasification, mixed process of MDEA desulfurization + fine desulfurization +PSA decarburization +MEDA decarburization and cryogenic separation. Acetic acid is produced by low pressure carbonyl synthesis process of methanol with ultra-low water and carbon monoxide. After the completion of the first phase of the project, it is expected to produce 1 million tons of acetic acid and 150,000 tons of acetic anhydride, easing the tension in the supply of domestic acetic acid and acetic anhydride.
In the project of Xinjiang Zhonghe Hezhong New Materials Co., LTD., "two-stage A/O nitrogen removal process" is used for coal gasification and ammonia distillation wastewater, and "ultrafiltration UF+ reverse osmosis RO deep desalination process" is used for water reuse, both of which are from German technology. Welly combined with German WWAG company's MBR bioreactor BIOMEMBRAT technology, and in nearly two decades of engineering practice combined with the characteristics of domestic high ammonia nitrogen, high salt organic wastewater, developed a series of wastewater treatment patents and products. With the advantages of biological nitrogen removal and MBR technology, Willy has successfully completed more than 400 high ammonia nitrogen, high salt organic wastewater treatment projects. Willy relies on Germany's advanced industrial manufacturing level and has accumulated rich experience in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of ultrafiltration UF and reverse osmosis RO systems.
This project is following the Hubei Double Ring Project, Hubei Xinyi Chemical Project, Jiutai Energy Inner Mongolia Project, Hebei New Energy project, and so on, Welli continues to show its strength in the field of advanced treatment, reuse and zero emission of coal chemical wastewater. The success of these projects enables Welly to help domestic large chemical enterprises to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction and waste water resource utilization, and promote the development of coal chemical industry to the direction of green and low-carbon.
